Alcoholism Recovery
Saturday, January 16th, 2010What post rehab alcoholism related recovery activities are covered by health insurance?
For instance, do insurance companies typically cover the cost of traveling to and from AA meetings, the cost of meeting sponsors, etc?
Health insurance will not pay any of these expense or anything similar to them.
They will usually pay for some follow up out patient counseling with you having to cover co-pay amount per visit.
The counseling has to be by a license professional.
if going this route make sure the doctor/counselor you select excepts your plan.
