An estimated 600,000 U.S. people are injured each year in alcohol-related crashes. Given the extent to which people in this country drink, this statistic is not in the least surprising.
From a different perspective, try to imagine the needless frustration, suffering, and pain that at least 600,000 people go through EVERY year in our country due to alcohol-related accidents. When are we as a society going to wake up and stop driving while under the influence of alcohol?
