Just finished eating an apple and my face got flushed and I started getting a prickly sensation in my face, neck and my tongue was slightly numb. I was trying to find some info on the net but couldn’t find anything specific. I use to get the same sensation if I drank beer or any alcoholic beverage that’s why I don’t consume alcholic drinks anymore. Any thoughts?
i’m allergic to apples and my tongue and gums and throat get really itchy. I’m allergic to most fruits and the reaction is all the same. You may just be allergic to a different part of the apple, and are getting different symptoms. Also, you’re probably allergic to the hops in beer…I have sever tree allergies that lead to my fruit and nut allergies. you may have allergies but for different reasons.
